UP(E) Telecom Circle provides a bouquet of telecom services which includes Land line, Broadband, internet, Leased line, WLL, Mobile and number of other services across the geographical area of 1.77 lac Sq Kms spread over 50 revenue district of UP(East) Circle. Thanks to your trust and support which has made us No one telecom service provider with 35% market share. With more than 40 Lacs mobile customer UP(east) circle is not only No one operator in the circle but also No one among all the circle of BSNL.

This year we shall be taking number of step to initiate new services and strengthen our existing services. In order to provide latest telecom service to the 95% population of this circle which lives in rural area we shall be providing mobile coverage to all the villages having population of 1000 or more, umbrella coverage through WLL and broad band services to all our 2298 exchanges of the circle. We shall be increasing no of mobile BTS to double than the present 2600 BTS to provide all over coverage. We shall be providing 12 Lacs mobile connection 1 Lacs broad band connection during the year 2008-09

In order to serve you better BSNL has decided to declare year 2008 as ‘Customer Care Year” We have taken number of steps in this direction as computerised booking of services, fault booking, billing, on line payment through internet of mobile bills, improved customer service centre, personalised care to commercially important customer (CICs) and enterprise customer. BSNL has also provided free insurance of Rs 50000/- to all its basic and post paid mobile customers.
